The threads are evenly coated with a resilient blue nylon patch creating a standardized nylock self-locking mechanism. Once tightened, the nylon compresses against mating threads to generate consistent frictional resistance, preventing screws from backing out under strong vibration, mechanical shock, and thermal cycling.
Each screw comes pre-fitted with a matching rubber washer under its button pan head. Upon torquing into place, the gasket compresses tightly between the smooth curved head and the mounting surface, creating an instant barrier against water, moisture, dust, and fluid leakage without needing loose accessory rings.
